5/30:Crash Course in Leaded Glass w/ Guest Artist Kristin Culotta (1 Day) 10-4pm Saturday

Join guest artist Kristin Culotta of "Culotta Creations" from Seattle for a crash course in Leaded Glass. This hands on workshop, students will construct a framed 7x9” leaded glass panel using traditional lead came techniques. Designed as an introduction to the classic method, the class explores how different H and U lead came profiles function structurally and how each profile shapes the visual character of a finished piece.
The day emphasizes the essential stages of assembly: leading, soldering, framing, and glazing, with careful attention to clean joints, proper reinforcement, and long-term durability. Basic glass cutting skills are helpful but not required. Cutting will be covered as needed to support successful construction. The Beetle Bits cutting system will be demonstrated as an additional tool to support accuracy and efficiency.
Open to all skill levels, this intensive offers a supportive entry point for beginners while giving returning students the opportunity to sharpen their technique, improve fit and finish, and build greater confidence working with leaded glass. Materials supplied.
