Take your stained glass skills to the next level by exploring the exciting addition of fused glass techniques in this dynamic 4 week course. You’ll begin by selecting a pattern from those provided, or you may submit your own design (25 pieces or fewer) for instructor approval prior to the first class. From there, you’ll learn how to thoughtfully incorporate fused elements into your stained glass work, including the use of glass enamels, stencils, paints, frits, and other fused inclusions. Throughout the course, we’ll cover essential topics such as project planning, key terminology, kiln temperatures, volume control, framing considerations, and an understanding of both the creative possibilities and technical limitations of combining stained and fused glass. Students will complete homework between each session to keep projects moving forward. Tuition includes three firings, a student discount on materials and free use of the studio during the four weeks, giving you ample time to experiment, create, and refine your piece. Expand your skill set, deepen your design knowledge, and discover new ways to make your glasswork truly shine! Prerequisite 4 week stained glass. Bring your tools and make a one-of-a-kind panel!




Students enrolled in the 4 week series get unlimited studio time on Mondays & Thursdays.

Cancellation Policy: DO NOT come to class if you are sick or have been covid-positive person in the last 7 days. If you have a known covid exposure, please WEAR A MASK. We are excited to offer more spaces in the studio, with a class limit extended to 12 people. Our 7 day CANCELLATION POLICY offers 100% store credit for cancellations 7 days before class.
