10/18 &10/19: 2 Day Fusing Realism with Frit Shading- Visiting Artist Scandia Wood-Blackwell

We are excited to welcome Scandia Wood-Blackwell all the way from Seattle for a special weekend exploring her technique fusing realistic images in glass. Over the course of two days, Scandia will walk you through multiple projects beginning with a 6x6 still life and graduating to an 8x10 garden landscape scene. Demonstrations and discussions will include everything from building depth and detail with frit and multiple firings, planning, photographing subjects, and framing and display ideas . Cutting experience necessary. Tuition is $450 and includes all materials. .

Cancellation Policy: DO NOT come to class if you are sick or have been covid-positive person in the last 7 days. If you have a known covid exposure, please WEAR A MASK. We are excited to offer more spaces in the studio, with a class limit extended to 12 people. Cancellations must be received 7 or more days in advance, for store credit or transfer to another class. No refunds. Offering 50% credit until 24 hours before the class unless we can fill your space. Less than 24 hours notice, no credit. Thank you for understanding. All Students must wear closed toed shoes in the studio.
