Join guest artist Kristin Culotta of "Culotta Creations" from Seattle for Stained Glass in Motion: Designing & Building Glass Mobiles. Move beyond the traditional flat panel in this fun all day stained glass workshop focused on creating dynamic, light-responsive mobiles. Designed for artists of varying experience levels, this class explores how glass can balance, move, and interact beautifully with its surroundings.
Students will design and construct stained glass mobiles composed of multiple individual elements, with the freedom to develop unique structures and forms. Through guided instruction, participants will cut, foil, and solder a series of glass components before assembling one or more finished mobiles. The workshop covers copper foil construction, soldering techniques, and practical strategies for spacing, weight distribution, and balance. Essential skills for creating work intended for movement rather than static display. Depending on individual pace and design direction, students may complete several simpler projects or focus on a smaller number of more intricate pieces. Emphasizing thoughtful design, problem solving, and clean craftsmanship, this class equips students with both finished mobile artwork and the confidence to continue designing stained glass pieces that move gracefully in space. All materials included. Open to all skill levels.

We are excited to offer more spaces in the studio, with a class limit extended to 12 people. Our 7 day CANCELLATION POLICY offers 100% store credit for cancellations 7 days before class.
