2/27-2/28:2 Day Fusing Realism with Frit Shading- Visiting Artist Scandia Wood-Black

We are excited to welcome Scandia Wood-Blackwell all the way from Seattle for a special weekend exploring her technique fusing realistic images in glass. Over the course of two days, Scandia will walk you through multiple projects beginning with a 6x6 still life and graduating to an 8x10 garden landscape scene. Demonstrations and discussions will include everything from building depth and detail with frit and multiple firings, planning, photographing subjects, and framing and display ideas . Cutting experience necessary. Tuition is $525 and includes all materials. Please note, this registration is only a reservation, it is not guaranteed until payment is collected December 1st. If payment is not received within the first week of December, your spot will not be held. Thank you for understanding. .

Cancellation Policy: DO NOT come to class if you are sick or have been covid-positive person in the last 7 days. If you have a known covid exposure, please WEAR A MASK. We are excited to offer more spaces in the studio, with a class limit extended to 12 people. Our 7 day CANCELLATION POLICY offers 100% store credit for cancellations 7 days before class. No credit less than one week notice UNLESS we can fill your spot. Thank you for understanding. We WILL NOT issue credits for NO-SHOWS.. All Students must wear closed toed shoes in the studio.
